My past catch 063

A trip over to a island that was not far away from our hometown

Saturday monring 6am a total of 5 vehicles about 20 of us together we enter malaysia to sibu island for some inshore luring, estimated about 2 Hours Drive to Tanjung Leman jetty from singapore. Our first stop will be kota tingi for breakfast and do some shopping for drinks, snacks,etc.... before heading over to Tanjung Leman jetty where the boats are waiting for us. Happen to bump into shy and some friends that are going to ah fatt kelong on the sameday, after some chat with them our boat has arrived so picked up our stuff and off we go for about another 20mins of boat ride over to the resort on sibu island that we are staying

After lunch the group set off to a nearby shore not far away from the resort for some warming up, the main plan was to head over to a jetty on the other end of the island, its kinda far if to walk over estimated a 30min hard walk on the rocky shoreline.Lucky enuff the boss of the resort was very helpful he provided us a small boats and take turn sending us over.

About 10mins ride the first group arrived on the jetty, while waiting for the others some just try casting here and there. The jetty we were at was actually belongs to another resort a worker from this resort came over saying behind there was a place each is better for fishing just behind they resort. So a small group of us decided to recee around, wow what a beautiful place surrounded with coral reef. Both left and right of the beach look so promising we decided to split up into 2 groups so that more area we can cover, we had not much time to spend as the boss will be picking us up in about 2 hours time

There were a few guy on the right hand side so some of us moved over to check them out, steven told me that he missed a estimated 4kg trevally right in front of him. He saw actually looking at his lure while he cranks in, suddenly the trevally dashed out from nowhere graped his lure boom!!! but sad.......... hook was not setted in properly the lure fly back right to him sad.............

After we joined them for awhile dreamer with his black AK140 hitted a good size Spanish Flag Snapper aka Tngee Boon the fish ran into the corals and got snaged for awhile but luckly dreamer still manage to pull the fish out kekeke

Well.... steven lost the 4kg trevally but at the end of the day he manage to land a Giant Todak.
