Another short luring trip to kill itch

Went for a short trip with jamie and sh 2 weeks back at one of the reservoir to kill some itch before jamie go for his NZ trip, when we reach somehow i felt it will not be a good trip lol as the wind was blowing strong that day. I don't know why but usually when there is wind the fishing will be sucky lol.

After we started casting our lures for about 15mins i heard a familiar sound from the back, the sound of a monster truck with the man standing there saying "HELLO" NO FISHING AR.....

After some chat with him hmmm his very nice and friendly he asked us to move over to the legal side to fish. Lol we waited for him to move off and went back fishing at the same area.











We also met a bangala fishing with handline he landed a peacock bass and you know what? he told us sheng siong supermarket is selling the peacock bass at 1kg $18, We was like WTF PB? 1KG $18? LOL

Anyway all fish we landed were released

Last sunday me and jarrett went some lure fishing after the rain in the evening,it has been a long time since the last time i went to this place haha maybe i'm getting more and more lazy of walking. Well~~~~ it was a nice trip at least we had some good fun.

We reach the location at about 5pm, jarrett kept having takes on using the rapala rattlin. I was like WTF is wrong with me???

I'm trying out some small jigs as ibr and sh had some good results on one of their trip, but it seems like it don't work for me on this trip lol. After like about 30mins i decided to change lol

Since i had a bit of fun liao so tot of trying out the new lures hock heng bring in. well ... hahaha this is wat i got with the Urban Flasher 80 sinking lure.




We also hitted some nice Zebra Tilapia hahaha pls don't underestimate the power of this fish. It will give you some real good fun with light tackle. we are using those small sinking lures and slow crank, when the Zebra Tilapia hit your lure they hit hard so i just simply love them hahaha.

Hello guys.... finally got time to post stuff here lol hmmm this will be a fast one. just wanna share some photos with you hahaha. This trip was actually our main target were for the toman's aka snakeheads but ended up its more like PB's lol.

We had quite a bit catches on that day, almost all was taken on sinking lures. As we need to work the lures as fast as we could to make them bite.( let it sink and just crank it fast)

Floating lure will flip out of the water if you work it to fast...

Oh ya they were small but fun hahaha.

2011 first freshwater catch

Hi guys before i forgotten about it hahaha i better write it down here. i got my first freshwater fish with aylwin about few weeks ago, the few hours trip i only landed 1 fish but i'm very happy with it.

We walk and cast for hours but nothing seems to be taking our lures, we bumped into 2 fly fisherman at that area and they are catching fish de lor.

hmmm hahaha i actually got a fly set from my friends kekeke they gave it to me as a Xmas gift but no chance to try it out. well.....maybe i can learn how to cast from them hahaha so i stop casting my lures and sit somewhere beside watching.

Suddenlly i saw some very small fishes swimming on the surface somewhere near to the weeds,LOL just don't know why i took out my SPRO frog and started to cast at them.

And this is what i get after a few cast.

Its so nice to hit a fish on topwater lures hahaha but the sad thing was i'm using high drags hai.... no choice i had to set my drag high to prevent the fish dashing into the weeds.

The Zebra Tilapia ( beginner Luck)

Last night me and my friends went to some freshwater hole to kill some itch, at the sametime they wanna practice on Baitcasting reels. We went over to the first fishing location after we taken our dinner.

we fished there for about an hour hai.... melvin landed a small snakehead lol to boring liao so we decided to change to another fishing ground. Jamie came to join us over at the 2nd location. His still very new into luring so not much of lures, i pass him a small L minnow and told him how to work it. within 30min he landed 2 good sized Zebra Tilapia hahaha.

Later part of the night we went over to spot 3 for peacock bass, but me, jamie and aylwin went off early as jamie need to work and he was the only 1 tat can drive us home hahaha. We was at spot 3 for about 20mins total landed at least 6 fish.

Short trip to USR

Went for a short fishing trip with aylwin and jamie at USR before jamies birthday party at his hse. This was his first luring trip haha and landed his first fish on lure.

weather was bad yesterday lol when we reach it rain lol, only manage to hit a small PB.





Will start to prepare my post for my rompin trip kekeke but it will still take sometime for my to load it up cos of the videos hahaha.

Small sebbie

Recently i was sent to work in our JB Branch for a few days, last friday after work me and 2 of my friends went to kill some itch. We reach spot at about 9.30pm after some seach lol as it was quite awhile since the last time i went there, everything has changed quite abit i was kinda lost lol but lucky still manage to find the entrance.

Once we enter hmmm me and my friends saw someone at the other end but went we went near he was gone, non of us said anything untill the next day when i met my friend at work lol.

I think we saw what we think it is hahaha.

Anyway that night we fished for awhile only , i manage to hit a small sebbie on a river2sea hum bug with slow crank.

Last week after auntie's pond

Yo guys,

Was busy for the past week so no time to update much on my blog kekeke, last week after auntie's pond we went for a second round in one of the freshwater holes. Our haruan King yuki mondo did it again hahaha, on his first cast with a weedless frog he hitted a nice sizes haruan.

The haruan was released after a few photo shots .




That was the one and only fish landed but well we still enjoy the trip.

Small but strong

After a long think of where to go from saturday night till yesterday de afternoon finally i decided to go fish lol. Weather was so damn hot yesterday lol the first location we went was a army training area which i think many of you should know lol. A Friend of mine kena locked up before just becos of fishing there lol and yet he was there with me yesterday.

We had quite a few takers but lol zero landed , there was 1 by me consider landed liao but it dropped back into the water before i can take pics. Moment later we heard a engine behind us.


OMG.... lol we are dead


both of us don't dare to look back just act blur carry on casting, we heard the sound of door closing it sounded like someone came out of the vehicle. Hmmm lucky lol he did not see us or he did saw us but just close 1 eye and go off.

But we knew its not safe to fish there anymore so after the vehicle leave both of us ran out to our vehicle and dashed off lol.

After that we had no idea where to go so we drive around see see look look


About 4pm we found a old open place i think so just gave it a try , haha i think we found another kill itch spot liao there are quite a bit of small pb's around. i hitted a few of them and they are strong for that kinda sizelol quite fun de lor.

They are crazy over rubbers esp still hunt lol too bad i bring not much of them , all of my still hunt were eaten by them lol. its time to stock up more still hunt!

A Great Experiencing trip

Sorry i took so long to upload this hahaha was busy with stuff for the past week

Ok this is what happen on our trip




Finally this day has came .... me, mondo and ibr waited for 2 months for this trip hahaha last saturday afternoon we set off into malaysia.

I can't remember when was my last enter to malaysia but i knew it was quite sometime ago liao. That saturday was a eye opening to me lol, the malaysia custom changed lol.... the road was like a F1 racing track turn here turn there go up and down hahahaha. It's a waste of land, money and time ....

Ok well never mind that our first stop is a nearby restaurant to fill our self up hahaha , The watermelon with crush ice was so refreshing.....





Both ibr and mondo was thinking heard on what to eat....












Oh ya this place was quite safe to park your car as you can park it in front of you while having your food kekeke.

All of us ate their fish and chip hmmm well.... not that bad but the best dish was this fried quail "burung puyuh goreng" LOL we had 2 plate of that.







After all the food we went to get some drinks as we will be driving non stop to mersing. Mersing well be our next stop we will be visiting a tackle shop there to see what we could get for the trip.

No need to pay road tax lol


About 2 hours later we reach mersing for a fast drink cum tackle shopping.

We spend about RM$100 in this tackle shop, hmmm... will show you guys what we grap later on.

This was our first trip to the place so all of us had no idea where , but thanks to Ron he gave us some briefing on how to get there what to look out for and we had a GPS. After some search we finally found the place, it was a small village that we will be staying over in the night.



We had booked a small room with a malay uncle for the 3 of us but after some chat with the him we found out that he has a hse to rent too , we asked him if we can take a look at it haha his very kind and showed us the hse. Wow its way better than the small little room lor, kekeke we asked him how much is he charging for the hse.

You know what?

It was only RM$50....

The small room cost us RM$30 might as will we pay a bit more for the whole hse hahaha

Yup we rented the hse from him , all of us was happy with what we decided. Most important thing is the toilet was in the hse , so that the next morning we can get ourself wash up easilly.

SPRO frog . This are the frogs we got it from ron, its damn will build and effective. We will be getting more of this frog from him liao hahaha.


The below pics are what we got from the mersing tackle shop, there was this propeller i got it for RM$3.50 if i don't remember wrongly, very effective lor 1 landed 1 on the propeller and a number of chases.










We went to bed at about 1am but hai.... did not get to sleep well cos hor the mosquito there are damn power lol. 3 of us woke up at about 4 plus am wash up and went for our breakfast in the town area , at the same time get some drinks and stuff.















Everything semms to be going smoothly but not till we went over to the meeting spot that the boatman told us. He told us to meet him at 7.30am but he was late lol we waited for him hmmmm for about 45mins. During that 45mins 6 malaysia anglers setted off to fish liao lol nothing we can do ,all we can is catching them zoom off lol.



















Sad Sad lol if you think that is sad lol you are wrong kekeke , finally the boatman came we super happy can't wait to set out to fish. But i had this strong feeling that this will not be the end lol something is not going to be right.

He started the moto and went off to don't know what his doing over the other side for awhile , the next moment we saw him trying very hard to restart the moto.

Oh No...... hahaha he spend a 20mins there trying to pull start the moto lor.... we was very up sad liao....

The next thing is seeing him paddling the boat back to the shore, OMG.......! LOL

We knew something big will happen to us liao the way he paddle the boat back to the shore .... After ibr talk to him our heart all fell lol

"He told us that the moto is spoil and unable to repair cos its a sunday no shop open la, we have to cancel the trip liao....sorry . The next time you all come i charge you all cheaper"


We was like...... lol nothing to say liao lor.... all the way 3hour of drive now got to cancel and go back to singapore lol.

We asked the boatman if there is any place we can fish not cos we come so far liao don't wanna go back just like this. The boatman was kind enuff to show us a spot to fish from shore , he told us that there is toman and kim there. Oh well so we decided to give it a try .

But we still not satisfy with what happen lol we asked him again if by any chance to get the boat repaired , we can wait for you till you get what ever it needs to repair and we still will pay you the same amount of money.

HAha after some talks he agree to go out to find the parts and told us to wait for him for an hour.

kekeke happy hopefully he could come back with good news,.

While waiting for him we went over to the spot that he shown us to fish for awhile, the place was nice and we also bump into a local there . He was also casting poppers lor so ibr asked him what are the fishes there he catch kekeke. he told us got toman and kim etc.... hmmm







We started casting trying our luck , we saw fishes rise but hai... they just dont take our lures dam sad.....

About 45mins later the boatman came back

yeah....... and he got the boat repaired hahaha happy..... finally we are able to go out to fish liao.......









Not much of pics taken after we setted off from shore as lol everyone is concentrating on fishing lol But i can say its a beautiful place.

We had quite a number of takes and misses but zero was landed , there was 1 mama toman even broke my hook and dashed into the weeds so fast that i cant do anything lol.

Fishes are all over the place but we can't land any WTF.....

The boatman told us to take a break on his floating hse as the weather in the noon is to hot liao fish will not take, so we went over to the hse to rest lor. LOL he also told us if wanna kill some itch we can try fishing just right below of the hse lol.

















He told us that to set off again after 3pm

So we waited....

After so much things happened we tot everything we go smoothly but.... after 3pm we setted off again the weather fxxking changed so fast that all of us totally blur. Dark rain clouds coming from everywhere.....


HA........... !!! WHAT HAVE WE DONE WRONG , WHY MUST ALL THIS HAPPEN TO US!

We head back to the floating hse for shelter , it was like just 5 meter away from shelter the rain fall heavly on us .

We was like CCB @$%&*^# why must this happen lol

The rain was so damn heavy ... i told ibr and mondo if this rain don't stop at 5.30pm we can pack up our stuff and go home liao.

We waited......







Finally we saw hope again lol the rain stop just before 5.30pm lor lol , after the baotman clear the water in the boat we again set off to fish lol.

Again we had takes and misses but zero landed , the boatman kept searching the fish. While the boatman was moving to other spot i saw a school of babytoman i immediately cast my weedless frog with the propeller i got from the tackle shop over.

BANG!

Fish on... and landed kekeke finally..... i got what we came for....

Fish was released after photo taking.

IBR and mondo also got take after that but fish was to fast, it took the frog and dashed into the weed and got away.

LOL if you thinkits going to end like this lol no no lol , on our way back to shore the boat die again moto can't start .........we got to let the moto cool down first cos moto to hot liao ..... boatman got to paddle a distance to cool down the moto.

It was totally dark liao lol but lucky after the moto cool down the boatman start the moto and head back shore safely.

LOL what a happening trip but we will be back there for more soon hahaha. Over all its a nice place to fish , boatman also kinda helpful. There are fishes is just that we are still new to the place , we will do better the next time kekeke.
