I'm back ...... to my blogging hahaha. it has been a while since i last login lol. Well... here i am . Recently we went up to the JDM tackle show in thailand and it was my first time, and we meet up a lot of Pro staff from japan.

HOOKED Magazine have a small table setting to display and give away our magazines. best is we met up with the Japan Lure Magazine's chief editor Hideyuki Nomura.

We were there total 5 days , 3 days tackle show 2 days of fishing hahaha

have not much photos on my end most of the pics are taken by jamie on his camera, photos and write up will published in HOOKED magazine.

My first time on a kayak

Jack from kayak project invited me to join them on last saturday morning outing,happen to bump into a few friends that are now into kayak fishing. More anglers now find kayaking is a better way to fish in singapore.

On a kayak you could fish places that we are unable to reach by foot.





Since i'm there might as well give it a try, jack recommended to try out the emotion kayak stealth angler. The stealth angler are very stable and had lots of space for my legs hahaha,also comes with a build in rod holder. Really enjoy kayaking but to bad i don't drive, no way for me to transport a kayak on a bus or MRT lol.

Was busy with this project for the past few months, finally we are about to launch the magazine in late july. Many thanks to all my supporter of my blog i hope you guys could support the HOOKED magazine as well.

Shimano open house 2012

Last sunday me and some of my friends went to the shimano open house at hotel rendezvous. The turn out of the event was good i guess hahaha,quite a bit of friends were there like a mini gathering.

Shimano showcase some of their new products, i kinda like the new shimano vanquis light and smooth











On the event they have this lucky draw thingy all you need to do is pay $10 to get a copy of the shimano latest catalog, it comes with a roll of powerpro line and a lucky draw ticket

I got a small shimano FX Reel from the draw whahahaha

Singapore yacht show

Due to work and not much of time so unable to update my blog that offen anymore hai.... But guys get ready to be HOOKED hahaha something is coming your way.

Anyway today I went to the singapore yacht show in sentosa one'15 marina club. Saw lots of nice boats but I will never be able to buy any lol.

Back from pekan

Hi guys I'm back from Malaysia fishing but tml night I'll be setting off to rompin :) .

Our pekan trip was not good fishes are not biting I manage to hit 1 fish per day lol. Anyway will upload photos when I'm back from rompin as I forgot to bring my camera to pekan lol. Need to get the photos from Jamie .

Oh ya Jamie and a few if my friends are going new Zealand this weekend hope they have lots of fun over there.

Chop hock Heng will be closing down

Hi guys,

just to share with you guys that chop hock Heng will be closing down the retail shop in beach road latest by 31th march if nothing goes wrong. I'm gonna be jobless for a while but no worries I have found a new job :)

It is real sad to see another shop closing down, hock Heng are one of the oldest tackle in Singapore.

Hi guys happy cny wishing all in the best be with you in the year of dragon.

This cny lol I did not even touch any of my rods, suddenly lost the interest of fishing. Hopefully after a break I'll get back in action.

Sabre is moving to new location

The other day was talking to the lady boss in sabre tackle, she told me that they are moving to a new location soon. The new owner only gave them 2 months notice for them to move out.

Jean Yip will be talking over the whole building.

New location of sabre tackle will be still in beach rd area, will update you guys when the new location is confirm.

Less NETS more FISH

Found this on the net many years back, it says less nets more fish. Somehow i had to agree on that one way or another. Recently more FTW the thai,banggala,china etc...came to my shop and asking do we sell nets, the first thing in my mind was WTH netters again. Anyway lucky my boss don't sell nets hahaha . I hope one day there is a way to control them from putting nets everywhere in our home.
