GUSA SW 79XF 12 - 25lbs, 7"9 spinning

Adding a new rod to my collection

Model : GUSA SW 79XF 12 - 25lbs, 7"9, Spinning
Components: Fuji guides and reel seat
Sports handle seperated by a screw on nut. Bought it from Nigel who almost didn't use it at all. He only used it once for casting some poppers.

Probably near mint condition. Guides are in mint condition. Almost no scratches on blank. but there are some sticky stuff on it need to remove it myself arh....lol

Great for medium light popping at Rompin, Pekan or even shore casting. Toman popping may also be a great idea.

Just a rod that i'm looking for Nigel somehow help me save $260 as i'm planning to get another rod which cost $450 :x

Nigel i copy your post hahaha and edited it a bit hahaha.
Oh ya and pics hahaha dont shoot me k

Seriously i'm not trying to promote the rod or whatever.... or maybe yes in other ways lol.

it really feels good i'm sure it will be a nice rod for luring and pond fishing.

The blank of the rod is nice and strong with carbon tap wrapping, i just love the action lor..... i will be testing it out this coming sunday on our company fishing event with staff from malaysia.

Took some pics of the rod to share.

shorter ones are non expose butt, longer ones are expose butt lol sounds so not right lor....

The shorter ones are 5ft and 5'6ft 4-8lb with non expose butt so are the 6ft but the 6ft de is 6-12lb.

Shimano Exage STC Travel Rod is a 5 plus 1 short extension, the rod can be used at two different lengths by adding the short extension (8ft or 9ft)

It also come with a carry tube for safe transport. This model TT sold me was a very old model which they used the double footed guide. if i'm not wrong the newer model are using the single foot guides liao.

AJN Stealth Carbon Ex

Jarrett got this rod from a guy in Fishinkaki selling at SGD$25.00. Jarrett bought it for pond fishing But the rod was a bit to soft for pond fishing i guess. So he passed it to me kekeke it will be good for some peacock bass.

AJN Stealth Carbon Ex (remake model of the stealth carbon 2007 series)
4ft 6inch
ultra light class 4-8lbs
lure wt 4-10gm

I just love the blank of this rod but the components used on it was normal and the handle looks a little too thick on the thin blank lol. Hmmm maybe i'll consider re-building it with fuji guides and slide ring reel seats cork handle .

Rod review shimano Bassterra

I just got a shimano Bassterra from a old friend of mine, we were good friend since when we are in Pri school hahaha that was long. anw this shimano Bassterra is an Good rod for general fishing, pond fishing and esp lure fishing. If you were to ask me for a recommendation on rod for luring i guess this will be my choice. The shimano Bassterra 6ft 8-16lb will be a good rod for someone which just picked up lure fishing.

shimano Bassterra Baitcast or Spinning rod model has a few line class and length. if i'm not wrong the lowest poundage was 8-16lb , the highest was 12-25lb. The one which i'm having now was the 7ft.line wt 12-25lb spinning. I plan to use it for toman hunting hahaha i'm gonna use it to cast big poppers and of cos yo zuri surface cruiser.

This rod is light and powerful

Blank was cover with Cross Carbon tape to increase blank strength, full-cork grip, SiC guide also comes with a Fuji Reel Seat for a firm attachment of the reel.
