A few small barra's
Just a quick update on one of my recent trip with aylwin and jarrett,we went back to our old forgotten spot to try our luck and yup it still hold some good fishes hahaha. Weather was concider ok.... some rains but it did not stop us from fishing.
I got the first fish of the day on a yo-zuri L minnow with twitch and pause, the fish took the lure while pause and sink. It was a small one but well at least i laned something after so long.
aylwin was the star of the trip he had 2 barra's landed, one of it was landed on the uban lures from chop hock heng

Jarrett had a close encounter but the barra missed the lure right in front of us.
I'll be back for more on wed hahaha will update if there is any catch K

Where are the big ones
Yes as above lol where are the big ones?
It been a while i hitted barra's above 3kg and i'm still stuck with my personal record of 7kg. Where are all the big barra's in the wild go...........?
Oh well at least there are still fish on this trip, small but we had some fun with them. Me,mondo,sh and aylwin met up in the early morning for breakfast at changi V before heading to our fishing location.
It took us not long to reach there hahaah maybe this could help you guess where is the fishing location lol. Anyway tide was out going we had no time to waste, once we reach everyone start to set up and cast. If i don't remember wrongly mondo hitted the first fish of the day, it was a small barra on his yozuri L minnow.
The weather started to change rain clouds are all over us,within like 20mins lol it rain the 4 of us ran for shelter. Luckly the rain was not that heavy or else the water condition for that area will be very bad and we might call it a day.
Surprisingly after the rain the fishes go crazy sh and aylwin kept having takes but no hook ups, both of them at least had 4 miss 1 after another on the left hand side. LOL how could it be man..... why my side no fish ar?
Or they don't like my lure? lol all this shit start to come of from my mind. hmmm so i took out my all this fav ima sobat 80S and work it with all my heart mind and soul.
I'm working it with twitches and letting the lure sink to the bottom, during the drop a small barra took my sobat!
After the release of my fish sh landed another barra on L minnow if i'm not wrong hahaha. The fishes are going crazy......... i had another barra on my white humbug
all the barra took our lures on the drop kekeke hope this could help you guys, but letting it sink to the bottom higher the snagging rates so be careful kekeke.
Poor aylwin he did not land anything during the fun hours, so the itch butt decided the disturb the mud skippers lol and he got what he want, mud skippers on rubber........Soon sh also join in the fun.
Last but not least a small herring by SH our super hero.....before we call it a day.
BTW i lost my sobat on this trip anyone has the same colour sobat wanna sell pls let me know as lure haven don't have that colour liao, lol top selling colour always no stock de hai......
Oh ya chop hock heng came in some new lures i had posted some photos up in fishing kaki you guys can go take a look :)

The unlucky todak
Hai recently fishing in sg is so.... boring. NO PLACE , NO FISH = BORING.... Me and jarrett went fishing on 1 of the sunday hmmm forgot which date liao lol. Anyway we somehow read the wrong tide lol so ended up got to change from A spot to B spot lol. This trip our target were the queenies so we worked our lures fast hopeing that the queen will bite. but hai.... after like don't no how many cast still no sign of them. I started to do crazy things liao lol, whenever jarrett made a cast i'll cast my ima honey trap 70S right behind his lure. And start chasing his popper and you know what.. a todak kena foul hooked by my crazy ima honey trap on the surface. 
I kinda like the ima honey trap esp when it sinks, normally most sinking lure when it sink it sinks straight. But the ima honey trap will wobber while it sink, this may trigger a take during the fall. oh ya and this lure can really fly hahaha very good casting lure.

Pulau hantu "Ghost island"
Recently me and my group of friends went to the Pulau hantu "Ghost island" for a night of fishing, it was my 2nd time to this island.

The first time there was actually a boat trip for light jigging in southen islands area but we had a half time break so the boatman bring us to the ghost island for a rest. when the boat enter the lagoon i saw the breakers at the side looks good and feel good to try some lure casting. After some rest me and my kaki's took some lures over for a try, on our way walking over we saw some anglers baiting on the island jetty. when we bypass them i seems to hear them saying something like we are wasting time with lures etc.....
Oh well we will show them that they are wrong hahaha 1 landed a barramundi after a few cast right in front of them on the breaker :) ibr also landed 1 after me hahaha.
So our boatman say let's hop on we go over with the boat lol we landed another good 6 pcs of barramundi on lure right in front of them. Best thing was few of them went on the breaker to try but all they had was watching us landing fish 1 after another.
So this time we planned this trip to the island again and hope the barramundi's are still around.
Reach the island at about 9.30pm water was still kinda low so we take our time setting up our stuff and had our dinner. Some of the guys can't wait till the water level gets higher so they went off trying their luck but lol all return with eggs.
At about 2 plus am Me,thomas and blur blur decided to start fishing as the tide is coming up already. Hmmm sometimes when your luck is good in fishing nothing can stop you hahaha on my first...... cast the rubber just landed onto the water i had a take "GOAL KEEPER" i did not even do anything hahaha.
Guess what it was a Waigieu Seaperch,Sand Bass or aka Deepsea Sea Bass/Kim Bak Lor
Rod: G.loomis SJR723 IMX 8-15lb 6FT
Reel: Daiwa Bradia 2500R
Line: varivas casting pe 2
Leader: Triumph fluorocarbon Shock Leader 30lb
Lure: Ghost "rubber" Got it from hotspot tackle sometime back but now running out of stock. you can find it at Top Gear tackle too.
Method: Luck lol it was a goal keeper
We casted for the next 2 hours, nothing..... so we went back and took a nap till morning.
Once again luck was on my side kekeke i hitted another barramundi when most of them are still sleeping but.... i did not manage to land the fish. Upon landing fish throw hook ......
Boring.....
So i somehow woke few of them up to join me, :X hmmm i am so damn lucky..... lol BANG hitted 1 more
