First lure of the night i used was a full lumo Aile Magnet within about 20 cast the lure had full of small teeth marks all over it. The teeth of the beltfish was so scary.... . We found out that they take surface lures only and once you feel a tab strike it as most of the time they will just tab and go, leaving only teeth marks on your lure if you dont try to set it.
Strikeing it give you a higher change of hooking it.
Total we got 5 beltfish all was killed for baits this coming friday offshore trip
hmmm some of the my lures had full of teeth marks now....
