My recent trip in the morning

Recently mondo got his new BC set (shimano calcutta B 201 pairing with a major stick) so we decided to do some fishing in the morning. when we reached the spot i was kinda sad becos there was a net right in front of where we are going to fish. Maybe due to the nets fishes was very less that morning and they are far out from us lol.

Photobucket

After casting for awhile 2 more anlgers came in to the hole somehow they are not aware of the net ,1 of them casted his lure right into the net. But his lucky lor 2 foreigner workers came to check their nets lol and helped him to get back the lure. The 2 anlgers leave after awhile as no point staying anymore lol once the 2 foreigner workers went into the water splashing here and there i don't think the fishes will come in liao.

End of the day Mondo still manage to get his first fish on his new set up

Small one for me too lol

Sunday 110410

Sunday morning actually me and Jarrett was planning to go after the PB's but the both of us over slept, when i woke up it was already 7am lol so ended i went down for a walk in the park near my place.

At about 12 noon jarrett call and ask if i'm still wanting to fish , hmmm lol why not i'm still itchy to fish lor. Both me and him went to a freshwater hole to recce and yup the place sure looks good for luring lol we casted for awhile then decided to call it off as the timing is too off liao.

But we plan to come back in the evening....

Justin and melvin was in bottle tree fishing so we decided to pop over to see how's their catches. hai... sad they only had landed a walking cat so far before we reach , that was really sad lor from what they know is the whole day ppl there catches only walking cat lol bite rates was really bad too.

Photobucket

I told justin why don't you try popper?

Photobucket

btw justin was the one which told me that the Chao Phraya catfish in FW3 takes popper , thats why i tot of maybe he could try it in bottle tree.

immediately he took out a popper

First cast BOOMZ he hitted a fish lol

Auntie's pond 040410

That morning was rainning i was like WTH.... why must it rain today...lol and i almost over slept luckly jarrett called me before he come over to pick me up. After picking me we went over to pick aaron (from sabre tackle) his place was 1 road next to my hse lol.

The rain did not stop went we reach the pond hai... sad sad but what to do we had already booked liao. After everyone arrive we started setting up our tackle and stuff.

Oh ya i had some msg asking about the cost of the event pond we booked.

ok here you go guys.

The booking of the Event pond for 6 hours = $500 ( Fish are not included for 6 hours of fishing)

1KG of fish will be $10 you can tell the uncle wat fish you wanna release, for our trip this time we got from uncle 60kg of fishes which means it will cost us $600 for the fish.

Total cost for our trip on that day $1100

But heard from some guys saying if you are paying $500 just for 3 hours of fishing ( maximum 10 pax)uncle will release some fish into the pond for you.

The rain stopped after the first cage of fish were released, almost everyone was busy landing fish hahaha. That day for me was consider good.... as i totally did not touch a single bait at all, i landed 8 fish for that day.

Photobucket

6 were on white rabbit rubber 2 were on rapala rattlin.

I had a few misses and lost of fish.

Ok cut short everything let the pics do more on the talking hahaha

White rabbit rubbers work wonders hahaha all i need to do is crank it at a speed which the rubber are still able to touch the bottom of the pond. The treble hooks need to be removed or else you get snaged easily.
