The hard work finally paid off

Weather was good this morning when ibr come pick me up, we reach location at about 6am a little bit to early to enter so we waited awhile untill about 6.30am. This was our first trip to this new found spot many thanks to a friend that shared it with us ( you know who you are kekeke)

4 of us splited up into 2 group as we had not much of space to cast if all of us were standing together. The first to land a fish was ibr he had a small but strong temensis on ima sasuke. SH had 2 takes on surface lure just right in front of him but both of it missed the lure. Then after that everything start to quieten down no surface action at all. I almost gave up at that moment but i told myself got to work harder as long as my lures are in the water i had a chance.

So i took out a pencil lure that we name it "Tommy" bought it about 2 years ago from a guy call alan haha 3 for $10 lol walking it slowly on the surface suddenlly something rise from behind 2 times but the fish was quite smart it did'nt attack the lure it just rise to take a look then swim away.

I moved around the area up and down the banks but can't seems to find any fish hahaha suddenlly i heard ibr shouting "kena kena hit hit" got size got size!!! I quickly walked over to take a look .

Wow it was a big temensis it weighted a good 7.5lb (3.5kg)

We leave the place at about 8.20am for some reason hahaha, but thats not all for today kekeke we moved over to NSLK to try out luck. We spend about an hour there but nothing was landed me and ham super de sad liao lor hai..... zero fighter for us again!

Then ibr suggested why not we gave a try at a spot that we have not been trying for quite sometime , he will not fish he will be our look out hahaha. But i super sia liao i gave up when we reach the place i don't even want to bring my rod down. Only SH and ham brought their tackle down i told them i'll be your camera man today hahaha, Sh had a small sebbie on the first few cast and while i was taking photos ham hitted a small PB.

After that they passed their rods over to me and ibr for us to try, i took sh's rod and casted a few time but my morale is super low lor no mood to fish anymore as i tot my luck was very bad recently.

I gave the rod back to sh lol

hai.....

SH got another small PB after i gave the rod back to him ( no photos), ibr asked me to taker over the rod again telling me to try try....encouraging me to try again.

Ok lor gave it a last try lor kekeke

On my 3rd cast once the lure hitted onto the water immediately a rise behind the lure so i carry on cranking the lure then suddenlly i felt a tap lol set ar!!!

Fish on and the fight was good hahaha fish jumped 2 time high up in the air lol i tot i kena kim sia.
