Eds pond yesterday morning

Went to kill some itch with Jamie and Jonathan yesterday morning, we bump into a friend of mine there. We tot we were early but lol his there before us and landed 2 fishy.

We took some to set up our stuff, after breakfast we to fish. I'm using one of the rubber that I got from sabre quite sometime back, on my first cast I hit a nice size grouper. Lucky I manage to pull the fish up with a 16lb FC leader.

Total we landed 7 fishes, Jonathan keep the grouper alive and put it into his restaurant tank.

Kyoto Haven

Kyoto Haven Fishing Pond will be reconstructing the pond after Chinese New year (2012) They are trying to clear the fishes,so now all catch and release program are lifted. So that means fish can be taken home including the GTs and grouper

Barramundi pond at Pasir Ris Farmway 1 singapore

Recently my boss gave us a half day off and want us to try some new reels that gonna be in soon. So we decided to head down to dave's pond (Barramundi pond at Pasir Ris Farmway 1)to try the reels out. At the end off the day most of the reels survived, all i can say is they are some nice and reasonable price reels.


That day we are hitting fish like nobodys business

The new catch & release pond in Pasir Ris main pond

Recently heard that the Pasir Ris main pond has a new catch & release pond, last saturday jarrett told me that he will be heading down on sunday. Somehow i ended up going down with my friends for a look.

So i thought jarrett will come later on so i decided to start fishing. i actually wanted just to pay $30 for 3 hours to kill itch but mark told me that his willing to chip in $15 more and go for the 5 hours slot. hmmm ok that sounds good lol so we go for the 5 hours slot.

The Catch and release pond was just a small netted area just next to the prawnning pond




Anyway i fished for a few hours and i gave up as i had no takes at all, i got only 1 word to say.... SUCKS..... lol its a waste of time and money. I did not landed any fish sia.

Friends Pravite Pond

Ok guys this is just a pics sharing post hahaha cos i don't think i could share the details as its more like a pravite thingy. But i'm sure if you ask around you should be able to find more info of this place.

25.02.2011 @ J.B Perling Damai Fishing Pond

Haha i know this is abit late to post this but anyway its quite a fun trip. The damai fishing village has 3 ponds A,b and c, A pond was a normal pond which is about the same like what we had here is SG. B pond all the fishes released inside were all 2kg and above. C will be a Catch and release pond for artificial.



The one we went on that day was the B pond if i'm not wrong B pond open only on monday,wednesday and friday "hmmmm not sure is its open on weekends"









We paid RM$80 for 8 hours of fishing at the B pond most of us catch fish the only one that did not catch anything was jamie. Me and aylwin sold back our catches back to the pond owner hahaha i did not know we can sell back to them lor , when i hitted my first fish they ask me to weight the fish at the counter saying that they got this jackpot thingy so i did as what they say lol. After weighting my fish the boss asked if i want to sell the fish back to them lol hmmm why not anyway i'm not bringing back fish.

I sold the fish for RM$32.00 kekeke cover back almost half of the money i paid for the pond fishing.

Everyone there are very friendly esp when you hit a fish near them they will reel their lines back for you to play. Unlike Sg ppl just don't care at all lol.

My friend first fish in his life.

Few days ago after work me and my friends went to the FW3 freshwater pond to kill some itch and at the same time trying to poison them more into fishing.

First they started with using baits but nothing seems to be biteing, lol i had already hitted a few fish on my self tie flies liao. About an hour later jamie hitted a red tail so he pass the rod to his friend just to let him had a feel of catching a fish.

After that i asked him if he wanted to try using artificial, haha poison poison poison. So i gave him some tips on how its done for using artificial, within 30mins he got his very first fish on his own on the flie i tie.

We were there for 2 hours but its good enough all of us had fun hahaha FW3 is still a nice place to visit.
