After the saltwater trip the next morning ( sunday ) we went for a freshwater trip with TT, he invited us over to his haruan spot . Me and ah hua got to wake up very early to meet TT for breakfast somewhere before we enter the location to fish at about 5.30am, about 6 plus in the morning we started fishing it was still kinda dark lor.
After TT showed me a lobang to cast he and wei yi move in deeper . My first cast on the scum frog to a nearby floating plants and work it very slow with very light twitch, the scum frog was just right at the water edge and there was a bat flying above the scum frog . While i was looking at the bat........... BOOM!! it was so loud that i almost forgot my own name lol.......
The haruan really gave me a shock lor.....
Rod: G-loomis GL2 6-12lb 6''
Reel: Daiwa caldia kix 2500
Line: ygk power hunter Pe 2
Leader: Triumph fluorocarbon Shock Leader 30lb
Lure: Scumfrog
Moments later TT from the other side landed a haruan too but it unhook itself and roll back into the water so no pics were taken. For poor ah hua he had a take but might be due to his soft rod that could not set the hook in properly he lost the fish half way back.
Roger and necro came to join us and they too have some catches pls visit their blog for more updates

Trip over the weekend Part 1
Nothing special over the weekend as usual me and a few friends went fishing together, first was a saltwater trip to our new Lure's Graveyard which had already buried quite a numbers of lure . Every trip to this Graveyard someone had to buried something down under kekeke . But lucky this time we bring along a lure retriever with us hopefully it could save some money for us hahaha.
We reach location at about 2pm in the afternoon weather was so hot that day but we could see rain clouds far away , started fishing once we settle down everything . we shared the same fishing location with someone that i knew from the forum, his with another 2 friends fishing there before us but seems like they had not much luck. Ibr was the first to land something on his first few cast.
A small belt fish
Reel: Daiwa certate Custom R 2500
Line: Fireline crystal 10lb
Leader: Triumph fluorocarbon Shock Leader 30lb
Lure: X-80 Trick Darter
Yuki mondo a new nick we gave desmond hahaha his lure were snaged on the same tombstone again, so we gave a try on the lure retriever and yup its a successful rescue .
After seeing yuki mondo almost lost his lure i think its time to change to rubber liao hahaha cos i scare....... I had landed kim and a tiger grouper at this spot with the Keitech Live impact so this time i will gave it a try again kekeke, Before the other group of guys went off kekeke i hit and landed a small tiger again with rubbers
Rod: G-loomis GL2 6-12lb 6''
Reel: Daiwa caldia kix 2500
Line: ygk power hunter Pe 2
Leader: Triumph fluorocarbon Shock Leader 30lb
Lure: 4 inch Keitech Live impact (Cola)
After i released the fish the other group of guys leave, we was like wow great...... now we can cast with no worries liao cos the other group of guys were using baits park and wait style , sometime we crossed their lines.
sorry boss
Not long after yuki mondo finally show his yuki power again he hit and land a small kim , lucky that he manage to put the fish away from the tombstone structure or else he might not able to land the fish.
YUKI MONDO....... kekekeke
Rod: G-loomis GL2 6-12lb 6"
Reel: Daiwa caldia kix 2500
Line: ygk Jigman PE 1.5
Leader: Triumph fluorocarbon Shock Leader 30lb
