Daiwa Theory 2000

Many years ago when i'm still kinda new in fishing i bought a daiwa theory 2000 from a friend together with my GL2 for $100, this reel really bring me quite abit of luck when ever i go fishing.



But 1 fine day me and my stupid hand try to open it and service the reel myself, i could not put it back in 1 pcs lol some of the parts are damaged and could not find any replacement parts for it. Sad sad so the only thing i can do is let the reel go for his early retirement lol.

I still keep the spoil reel till today lor hahaha.



2days ago while i was browsing around FK i saw someone selling a new daiwa theory 2000 that comes with a 1500 spare spool for $90, i immediately contacted the seller to arrange a meet up.

Today i got the reel from the seller liao yahoo.......



The Daiwa Theory spinning reels feature a HardBodyz frame, ABS metal spool, 4 bearing, INFINITE Anti- reverse, AirBail, Twist Buster line roller, and the Gyro System that eliminates wobble.













This reel do not have a strong drag so I think i'm going to use it more on pond fishing and maybe some luring that do not required much drag.

My X'mas holiday

Part 1

Hi guys merry x'mas and nope everyone enjoy the holiday.

Last night was my first time celebrating X'mas in beach road, Boss of deepsea tackle organised a mini BBQ at his shop and i was lucky to be invited to join the event.

Me and alvin went over after work to see what we can help. Btw sorry ar last night photos was taken on my cam phone so a bit blur lol












I'm so full yesterday cos uncle lee kept pushing food to me lol cos he say i'm too tin liao got to eat more lol.

















I leave at about 11pm lol need to sleep early cos today i'm meeting my friends to fish.

Part 2

This morning ibr picked me up at about 5.15am then head down to pick up the others , we reach the main entrance at about 6am and slowly walk our way in. But before we reach the fishing location we saw something that wake everyone up big time ! NB at least 7 Bicycle parking just before the fishing location, OMG that is not a good sign man its either the china worker or thai worker.

When we reach the fishing location omg the thai workers were all in the water collecting their CATCHESfrom the nets, nb they found their way there liao hai.... i felt so sad why they can net in our reservoir like the reservoir belongs to their father, and PUB just not doing anything against them at all.

The PUB only knows how to go after local anglers like us that do catch and release!

We saw the catches they neted up at the end of the day. My eye balls almost drop lol you will be very surprise to see how much fish they bag! LOTS of big fish in every bag, if i'm not wrong at least 8 of them everyone with a bag of fish on their bike.

hai... sad sad lol

Anyway we still manage to have some fun this morning with the PB's , they are small but at least we are still able to had some fun with them for now.

The feeding frenzy lasted for about 45mins, we landed about 30 pcs of PB and many throw hooks.

The Asari katana chameleon jig

Last week boss of deepsea tackle came over to hock heng and showed us some new jigs that his selling.

A jig that has 2 colour tone when you see it from a different anger, tot its kinda cool so me and my friends got ourself some for our next up coming trip( if there is any lol)

They had a few more other colours and weight but i got myself the 40g ones, below are some photos and a short video of the jig.

Time past very fast i had already worked in hock heng for 1 month plus liao , everything is ok with my job and i'm happy with it but there is this someone really freaking me out. Most of us call him "super number 2" lol everyday he has a new trick to snake around with. I just can't stand him when esp there are lots of customer around he can just act blur do nothing and chit chat with his SO CALL customer/friend. This is just a example lol if i were to tell the whole thing hor i think it will take me a few days to finish writeing it lol.

Anyway merry x'mas everyone 1 more days to holiday.... LOL

The rack can hold up to 12 rods on 1 side so total can hold is 24 rods on both sides. Don't worry about the transportation as its like buying ikea furniture you got to fix it up yourself when you got home hahaha.

Hock heng will bring in more if the stocks in the shop is sold out but you need to order from us and it may take quite sometime to arrive.

Finally Broke the rotten egg

I'm so damn happy cos hor i finally broke that rotting egg which i holded it for about 1 month lol. As usual we meet up early in the morning for breakfast at my place before heading down to the location. It was a hot sunny sunday and we had some great fun with the barra's.

And this is what we had


We had a double hook up kekeke mine was 5lb sh de was 4lb. Many thanks to ibr cos his the one who helped me to boga the fish up. Finally 1 month of dry spell is broke i'm so damn happy.

while ibr was helping us taking photos mondo hitted a fish , a few quick shots sh ran over to assist mondo but it was to late. The fish got away.... mondo de snap open up kekeke lure and fish gone the same time.

After all the excitement we went back to cast but hai.... the sad thing happen liao cos my rod tip broke off , think must be during the fight hai..... so there is nothing i can do . I relax one side watch them fish lor

Last but not least our hard working ibr got the last barra of the day, a nice 4.5lb barra end the trip.
