Sad for the toothy spot
Yesterday night we were back again to the toothy spot, on our way in we saw a strong bright light along the breaker . Oh man someone was there before us and i belif last night was thier first trip there as we have been at this place for quite sometime liao this was the first time we saw them.
When we walked near one of the guys told us to fish on thier left and the other guy was net casting for baits, i was like wtf i wanna fish where need not you to tell me. The next moment lol finally i knew why this fellow casted his long big rod over our heads without telling us that his going to do a cast like this.
i guess his trying to tell us he wanted to fish at this place badly, but i think he should really consider about others safety first before you do anything like this.
No matter how good you can cast or how good you are in the surf casting community, you can't 100% guarantee every cast you made are perfect.
it just need this 1 time if anything when wrong during the cast your sinker will go right onto our heads.
It is so sick to have such person around the fishing community and danger to have friends like this to fish with. you'll never know what could happen lol

Anyway we somehow leave the place after awhile as i felt no point staying there anymore as they have to many rods around liao and there are no safe place for us to fish, also there are some other reason that we decided to go other location to fish.
The water level was still kena high so we went to take a look at one of the old playground nearby before we went to the actual location we wanted to go.
kekeke we found out something interesting but sorry i can't tell you guys about it lol.
After that we went to the actual location and started to fish. Our luck sucker yuki mondo really good in sucking luck lor recently, a fish took his yozuri aile magnet the fight was strong for a small kim but ... but... he did not change the Original hooks on the lure to a better ones. The Original hook on the lure look like a VMC hooks if i'm not wrong lol those hook are weak after a few dash and pumping the hook give way and fish got away lol.
Both hooks on the belly and tail open up.
We almost ended up with zero catch last night but lucky ibr got a last min hookup of a 8lb cuda on Ima sasuke

Toothy fishes and the luck sucker
For the past 1-2 weeks our fishing are bad not much of actions and the weather sucks big time, but fianlly last night we are able to visit the toothy fish spot again. I had a small beltfish on the first few cast with slow retrieving.

Our yuki mondo the luck sucker was good lor last night before we move to hunt for the cuda he landed 2 beltfish on his yozuri aile magnet.
When the tide is going down we moved to another area for the cuda's, ibr had takes but did not manage to hook up any. The luck sucker standing beside me was using chug bug and saying " now fish here don't take popper liao ar " LOL the next moment BOOM! his chug bug kena whacked the next thing i know was he kept saying

Hinomiya Metal Jig
Metal Jig, Metal Jig, Metal Jig lol they are not made of metal but why they call it metal jig.

I got myself some Hinomiya Metal Jig from TTC recently, they look nice on the finishing. Now i can only say its cheap and nice lol cos have not used it before.
They cost only $2.45 each after discount lol for that kind of price i can have no worries of going down to the bottom.

Been to a few trips in malaysia for light jigging and i find that if you don't let your jig go down right to the bottom you are just wasteing your time. But letting it down you had a very high chance of snagging it onto rocks or coral.
Even in local shore i snagged a lot of jigs liao lol

This morning jarrett call me after his RT , both of us went to ed's pond for the first time to kill some itch lol.
Ed's pond was located at No. 70 Pasir Ris Farmway 3, Singapore 518234. Just right beside the famous FW3 freshwater catch and release pond
Opening hours for Ed's pond
Mon (9am ) to Sat - > 24 hours
Sunday open till12 midnight

When we arrive and start to set up our rods, heard this guy in red beside us complaining about the catch rates and fishes in the pond are not bitting, he was also wondering did the management release enuff fish not lol. From the way he talk i guess today was his first time to the pond too, 4 hours of fishing in the pond NOTHING! he told us the whole morning fishes landed up by others not more than 10 pcs, best of all fish only bite on 1 side of the pond.
OMG lol in my heart i was thinking siao liao lor not yet even start fishing only heard this kinda thing already how to fish sia.... After awhile the red shirt guy and his friend decided to go FW1 lol they totally give up the place liao.
2 hours later... i finally felt that the red shirt guys did the right choice lol today the pond bite rate was very low and even if they are bitting only the regular gets them.
reason why?
Becos... the regular know where the fish are hiding.... lol
Every pond are the same fishes tend to hide/ hang around net area and regular will conquer the best spot in the pond,
Jarrett can't stand it anymore

so he went over and squeeze with the others hahaha, that is something i don't like but what to do....lol you will get line crossed here and there lol i hate that sia...
End of the day jarrett squeezed 1 Ang Zhor and 1 Ang Kuey.

Smith Squid jig sharpener / Egi sharpener / hook bending tool
Yesterday due to the weather ended up i did not go to team 7 , meet up with mondo and ibr at beach rd to shop around.
I got myself a Smith Egi sharpener from AO.
Saw KJ using this on 1 of the trip tot quite useful
