White rabbit rubber lure

Recently i got myself quite a number of the white rabbit rubber from my work, as we will be heading down to aunties pond again on this coming weekend. The white rabbit rubber are 1 of the recommended soft lure for pond fishing from what i know.

There are 2 model 5558 and 5553 the diff between both is the tail.

i personally think the 5553 ones are better as the swing action of the tail are better lor.

Last weekend i tot maybe i could give it a try in the wild too kekeke so i packed a few into my bag before i went out.

On this trip a VIP joined us lol

Me , mondo and Tommy...... i don't even remember when is the last time i fished with tommy liao lor. Its as normal the 3 of us started out casting once we reached the location but lol nothing seems to be working, but soon after the water level gets lower fishes starts to bite.

Tommy hitted a small barramundi but upon landing the fish, hook came off and droped the fish back into the water.....

Hai...

After the lost of tommy's barramundi i happen to see some action long my area , immediately i cast my smith cherry blood 110MD over and fast crank it pass a rock.

Once after releasing the fish i went back to the same area with the same lure lol i hitted another small grouper hahaha . So lucky..... so happy....

But no photo....

NVM....

At the end of the day i took out the white rabbit rubber to give it a try , on my 5th cast with lift and drop method i hitted a 4lb grouper.

Cheap squid jig won the war

Yesterday night me and mondo decided to try our luck again for squids, after seeing some of the post in the forum kekeke. The guy which posted it was not fishing at the place we were but somehow it tells us that they are back.

After my work and dinner we head down to the location and started casting with our fav jigs like the yozuri, evergreen and yamashita.

Nothing seems to be working.

Boring..... hai.....

Then i dig out a jig that ever landed my biggest squid in CBW, well.... hopefully it works wonder again kekeke.

After about 10mins of casting finally the first squid came to visit us, its a good sized one i can say hahaha. If i don't remember wrongly the jig cost me about $3-$4 only but landed me quite a number of squid liao.




LOL after that i landed 2 more squid on the same jig kekeke.





Due to time limit we call it off early as we got to work the next day, mondo was lucky to hit a small one before we leave with his evergreen jig.

Blind casting for fish

On monday night me and mondo was actually planning to try our luck for the sebbies but just do not know why i had this funny feeling of maybe we can try casting at east coast.

Btw it feel so wired to cast at a beach lol its like blind casting for fish, if you are a lure anglers you will know what i meant hahaha.

No fish also never mind i'm bringing baitcasting set, cast cast also song lol. When we reached east coast i was like OMG.... the wind! hahaha strong winds sia...

i'm not good in casting BC lol now with this kind of wind i will eat a lot of bee hoon liao. We went up to a breaker mondo told me the only choice i had is to cast the right size of the breaker as the wind is blowing from left to right.


Yup very true lol so i went over to the right size and started casting, on my 3rd cast with slow crank on the black maria angel kiss 115 i hitted a 14.5lb barracuda. WTF i was casting so near to the shore is like only 5meter away from the beach. The fight of this cuda was good compared to my past catches, maybe its due to they are in the open sea.

Sad to see the PB

This morning we went to a place that i very long time never go liao, its a very open spot lol a place that will kena catch easily. I'm so sad to see the PB's are in now, last time use to be a place that holds lots of tomans, you will never see a single PB at all.

Now i think tomans had no chance to survive, in future PB's will be the only species that conquer our reservoir.

Toman and others will became rare species LOL number of species will slowly go down.

For now some will love catching the PB's, but soon you will hate them when you realise they are nothing good.

I landed 2 small one this morning before the TP " traffic police " chase us off. I was shock when the traffic police ask us to go lol, did'nt know nowadays TP also catch illegal fishing hahaha.

Bad things about working in a tackle shop

Ok i have been working in hock heng for about 3 month plus liao almost every day in beach rd, i found out that i have been spending to much money on my tackle like lures......., rod and reels etc...lol. Lures like swing impact, rapala ratlin, zipbait, ima sobat 80s and ... etc........

Oh ya talking about sobat 80s lol my long wait like about 1 year plus coming to 2 years, my fav colour is in hahaha i grapped 3 of it this time before its even up on the rack. The shipment only came in 8 pcs of that colour me and my group of friends took all ot it liao hahaha.

Spending money faster than i can earn hahaha, yesterday i spent $70 over for just white rabbit rubbers and jigs OMG...... hahaha

There are so much things to buy in beach rd

To much of temptation liao.....

Hai got to control my buying liao......

We had just confirmed a trip for toman fishing in malaysia in june, its a river fishing thingy we will be casting lures on a boat. Finally we had a chance to go for such a trip.

Need to grap more SC liao....... hahaha

Just got back from de Aunty's Pond

Once again we booked Aunty's event Pond.





Today's trip was consider good lol, i got 4 fish today all was on lures and a few misses.

Total catch for today hmmm about 50 over fishes within 6 hours of fishing.

We will be back again soon lol
