Tired of fishing

Nowadays fishing in local seems to be getting from bad to worse, nowadays most of my weekend i'll be at home watching TV, DVD, surfing net, some of my kakis had found new hobby or got their own little secret spot.

Things change a lot around me.

Anyway this was a tiny cuda which i caught on friday afternoon with still hunt 4 inch



Saturday night me .sh and ham went to recee a spot in town lol after a long walk before we can even really cast it started to rain like no tml , lol after the rain we took a taxi back to my home .

I have quite a number of fishes from jan till now but I still can't break my 2kg mark for this year!!!

Tired!!!

Eging with childhood friends

Yesterday night meet up with a few old friends that rollerblade a lot last time when we were young hahaha. Ivan suggest why not go for eging , ok since my hands are itchy. About 12am we reach saw a few anglers were there eging as well.

We were there like only 1 hour cos a friend need to go airport pick up a friend coming back from oversea.

We only manage to get 2 Baktao and 1 green eye

Squid jig weight adding with lead wire

When extra weight is required on a squid jig, when eging at a strong current or wanting to get the jig go deeper more quickly, try wrapping some lead wire around the front weight of a jig. It will help to increase the weight of the jig and sink faster.


You can find the above lead wire in one of the local tackle shops here. Few months back they were selling it at $2.40 per pack and was OFS for awhile. Finally the new stock are in but at a higher price this time at $3.80.


Actually you can also use the soldering wire that you can find at most of the hardware shops around you, basically i think they are the samething lol they serve the same purpose. From the help of ibr i got this tube of soldering wire for $2.









You can also use it for your rubbers , just cone it on your hooks.

From day to night

It was a tiring friday for me

Yesterday morning me and jarrett went for a day trip To LG , oh man the weather was so damn hot and best part is we had not enuff water with us. Forgot to buy extra drinks before we enter the place. We was there a little bit to early as the best timing was in the evening so me and jarrett wonder around that area trying our luck for some grouper at the breakers.

First lure i seleted was Maria chase the yellow top ones and cast along the drop off of the breaker, i hitted a small grouper but did not manage to bring it up hook came off during the lift up. After the lost i made another few cast into that area but no more fish were around the area liao.

I moved up abit and changed up with my 5 inch still hunt slowly bounced it along the breaker, lol a small grouper took it and try to dash into a rock there he was hiding hahahaha he had no chance at all.



Looking at the water we had was like OMG.... how can we survive till evening sia...

Somehow we survived hahaha.

At about 4pm i landed a small kim on my fav lure ima sobat! Not much fight at all lol but when the fish came in near he banged himself into the rock and injured the body.







After some photos taking i quicky released it back into water

We actually wanted to fish till 6.30pm but weather too hot and we had no more water by now hahaha so we call it a day and when down to beach rd for kopi with my kakis.

Not end of story yet hahahaha i went for 2nd round in the night with ibr, sh, ham and jarrett, more or less it was a recee trip .

We are so lucky that we found a new spot which we had never been before and kinda surprise to see surf anglerss.s.s.s.s.s.s.s.s were there fishing like no one business, had no issues with them just surprise to see them fished so openly :X

Anyway we started fishing along the breaker at the other end , ham got a small grouper but did not manage to bring it up during the lift. i am actually using white rubbers from the beginning of this night trip and i had been casting for at least an hour with no results. Hmmm..... i start to wonder of something which i was thinking for quite awhile liao... so i switched the white ones to my 5 inch dark colour still hnut.

You know what?

on my 2nd cast i got myself a small grouper on that rubber again hahaha



After releasing the fish time is already 3.30am liao ,so we end the trip with just a small grouper , but we will be there for more very soon hahahaha

Trip yesterday to LG

Ya its about yesterday hahaha after the trip was too tired to write anything yesterday night.

Me and ibr only the both of us went there again , its getting kinda bore on that place liao but what to do hahaha thats the only place we are able to find day light kims.

Wind condition yesterday was bad its hard for us to do precision casting, at this location where your lure land is very important. Sometime a bit mistake only you can say bye bye to your lure hahaha. Both of us started with rubbers casting along the side, moments later the baitfish in the strike zone start to fly here and there but i'm unable to reach that area with my rubbers on this kinda wind condition,

i decided to change hard lure so that i can cast further into the strike zone, within a few cast with twitch retrieving i had my first fish of the day on maria chase.





Ibr got a bonus catch which i will not metion about it here kekeke and his first grouper on rubber on the same day too.
