Got a Imakatsu Hard Javallon from a friend as a belated birthday gift 2 weeks back,i was like hmmm lol seriously its a nice lure but i can't bear to use it. The retail price of this lure was $89.90 just imagine if a snakehead whack your leader the whole lure gone lol .

Ouch!

Short getaway to Pulau Tinggi

3 weeks ago a group of my kakis and i went for a short relaxing trip to pulau tinggi in malaysia, this was my second to pulau tinggi. My first trip there was about 5 years back. Its a memorable trip with uncle koh.. his not around anymore hai.... i really miss him.

Arrived at tanjong leman jetty






This time we will be going to the other side of the island, name of the place is called (Chalet Pak Bakar) if i'm not wrong lol

Nice to see clear water again.....after about 20mins ride we reach the beautiful island

By the time we settle down our stuff lunch is ready, meals and 2 offshore fishing is included in our package.

Food was simple but nice.


While their staff is preparing for our boats, some relaz one side sleeping, some fishing on the jetty, some busy planking lol, some snorkeling.






They saw some fishes swimming around i guess lol

First day trip jamis hitted 2 nice yummy coral trout we had 1 for our dinner.










Both coral trout were landed on the new ima gun "silver" 40G the new gun paint work are better i think they added a thin layer of lacquer, If you use ima gun i guess you know how bad the paint drops off after a trip hahaha. Good that now they improving it liao.

After dinner we went for squid hunting but i missed out all the action as i'm to tired to stay awake. jarrett and jamie also landed 2 small GT on lures, no photos cos i KO already.




The next morning we went for our last offshore on the same boat, catches was not good i only manage to hit a small tenggiri on white rabbit MJ3000 40G. Ay;win a small queenie. It was a short trip as we need to check out in the afternoon






Its a nice place to relax and if you are doing bottom fishing can consider giving it a try. The other boat came back with some nice fishes with baits.

Hopefully the next time we went up to this place the boatman there get to know more about jigging.

It has been weeks I last when luring . Omg I scare I'll just give up luring .... getting more and more hard to fish. I think me and my kakis need to relax awhile for local luring liao.

cultiva lures

Sometime back when i was in PRP with my kakis and happen to saw this cultiva lures hanging on the rack. Looks kinda nice but from the look it tells me that this lure might not have much of action, but lol my itch hand tell me to buy it.





After trying it out hmmm this lure sucks lol, sink to slow, not much of action. The good thing about this lure is lol nice for keychain.
