The long wait finally came.....
on 16.10.2010 we made our way to a place whereby most anglers dream could came true of landing a sail of his life time lol.
Rompin a paradise for the sail fish, people around the world will come to this paradise every year.
Our first stop after crossing the woodland checkpoint in JB for our lunch, this was the same restaurant we went on our previous trip to rompin for Snakehead hunting. If i'm not wrong the name of the restaurant is call" LC restaurant ".
After the great food we move off to our next stop Mersing for refreshment and some tackle shopping hahaha, it will be about a 2 hours drive up. I got myself some lures and jigs, the squid jigs there are cheaper by a few dollors in the shop hahaha so i grap 2 of them......
We will be staying at the boatman's place for 2 days, i love the place very much hahaha super comfortable and nice.
The next morning we woke up early for our breakfast and after that off we go to the jetty.
The water was kinda rought in the morning and worse thing was we are unable to find enuff baitfish for the sail. But lucky enuff we had total 8 hits, 4 hook up of sail on day 1.

Day 2 we decided not to go for the sail, we went to do some light jigging cum a bit of baiting. But catch was not that good, anyway we still enjoy the trip very much.

Hopefully next year we can have a outting like this again.
