DAIWA BRADIA 2500

Just got myself a new reel from hotspot today lol it's a great offer lor and i don't want to miss it. I think if i miss it this time very have to come across such a great deal again lol.

Some say the bradia is an lower version of CERTATE 2500R CUSTOM hmmm will i not sure lol but from the look of the Reel Spec both reels are almost the same lor. Is just that Certate 2500R has more bearings than the bradia and bradia come with a folding handle and the reel is in black, hai..... need to spend a bit more money to change the handle and knob to RCS parts if you want to make it look nicer. lol think i will only change them on my next pay day bah.

This coming sunday i'll be going for an local offshore trip hahaha i can try my new toy liao hopefully i can catch something with it.

Pasir Ris Main Fishing Fond

Heard people saying that the pasir ris main fishing pond is going to close down soon as the GOV is taking the land back to build flats over it but seriously i'm not sure how true it is lol. If its real... hai it's so damn sad lor....

Few months back some ponds in pasir ris farmway kena close down then now the pasir ris main fishing pond. I belif many of you still remember the good old days right .....

Well... it will be an history soon lol if its real.

New toy Just Arrived from japan

During the chinese new year holiday alvin and my boss went for the tackle show in japan "yokohama" and they got back some spoons for the shop. The spoons are up on the rack for sale liao but very limited stocks lor.

Eve of Chinese new year

On 13th Feb 2010 chinese new year eve me and my usual kaki's when for a day trip to one of our Fav kim spot and happen to bump into a group of fishes that came early to wish us happy new year lol.

We lannded a totsl of 10 barramundi in about 3 hours.

Ibr was the first to land the first fish of the day at the other end with mondo and sh, at the same time i lost a fish at the other end alone lol hai or else we can take pics together liao.

After awhile SH came over my side and joined me, i told him about the fish i lost, it was on the black maria angel kiss 115. Moments later i had a hook up again the fish took me by surprise haha black maria rocks........

SH after hepling me taking pics he went back to fish and he immediately snap on his black AK as well kekeke. Good news came 1 after another haha a double hook up this time with the black AK.



Mine was a nice 8 pounder fish that really put up a good fight lol it has been quite awhile never hit such good fighting fish liao.

Oh man we hitted the sweet spot i guess lol i had another small kim again, 3 fish landed in a roll... WIth the black AK.....



Poor mondo still zero fighter..... he looked so sad but we told him not to give up. Keep casting bro keep casting.....

Now its time for SH to perform this lucky kid also landed 3 more kims in a roll too hahaha so now he had 4 kims in total .

By now mondo was even more sad lol still zero fighter lor..... Maybe due to he dont like cats lol, its the year of cat liao mondo you better start to love cats k.

Before we started fishing a cat from dont know where came to play with us , the cat was so cute and clean me,sh and ibr gave the cat food and drinks maybe thats why we had so many fish.... kekeke

Well.... mondo somehow never gave up, 30mins later finally his hard work pays off he had 2 more barra in a roll with our all time fav rapala rattlin.

But too bad his 2nd fish has no pics cos we are to far away from him liao.

Lonely Squids

Few days ago me,mondo and momok went for a short eging trip after my work. Heard from some customer saying that ponggol jetty de squids are back liao. So i decided to give it a try at one of the spot that we use to catch quite a bit of squids.

Tide is coming up at 11.30pm highest we were there about 3 hours before trying very hard, but hor nothing seems to be working....

So i tot of working the squid jig on the surface as i knew sometimes they are on the surface lol. After a few try i hooked a small squids and that was the only one for that night lol.



We call it off at about 11pm, sad sad they are not there yet maybe they are still in ponggol swimming their way to our xxxxxxx spot lol.

Oh ya we had a great trip today kekeke , will post up the pics soon once i collected all the pics from ibr.

BTW happy chinese new year to all.

First fish on my new G.loomis SJR 723 (IMX)

Last sunday went for some fishing with my friends and landed the first fish on my new toy G.loomis SJR723 8-15lb (IMX). LOL manage to hook up a small little haruan



Ibr also finally got a haruan at this area too lol before the place gone for ever

Chop hock heng fishing outing 2010

On the 24th january 2010 sunday chop hock heng had a fishing outing at the auntie pond in Neo Tiew crescent. My boss booked the event pond for 3 hours with additional fish added.

Usually the booking of the event pond will be $500 for 6 hours but its to long liao so we decided to take 3 hours only, the uncle was somehow nice of telling us that he will give us some additional fish as we took 3 hours only.

On top of that we bought $200 worth of fishes too.

We started off fishing at around 10.30am the first fish of the day was landed by our boss a nice Crimson Snapper aka Ang Kuey.











The rod that landed this fish was one of our own hse brand rod, Pro-Tech PT-TSH 602-2S (IM7) this rod is a 10-25lb rod.

On that day most of us are using our own hse brand products

The fish was cought at the pump area after unhooking the fish he went back and had lots of misses and takes so lol i joined him.

3 hours of fishing total we had 26 pcs of fish landed , my boss paid the pond management to clean up the fish for us lol
